In a heartwarming and memorable outing, the cherished yet unnamed and undressed “Stuffed with Love” bear from Old Norse Lodge Care Home set out on an endearing adventure to join the young members of 'Sunflowers'. The Bear's presence added an extra touch of magic to the day, delighting children and parents alike.
With special permission granted, the bear eagerly embarked on its journey to participate in a craft session organized by 'Sunflowers'. This local initiative brought together children and parents, fostering a creative and nurturing environment where imaginations could run wild.
As the craft session unfolded, the bear's boundless enthusiasm and charm quickly endeared it to all in attendance. All proceeds go to Sunflowers Children's Action Group, the charity chosen by Old Norse Lodge’s residents.
Sunflowers Children's Action Group desire is to collaborate closely with nearby hospitals, hospices, outreach services, and nurses. The aim is to offer support in impacting positive change for the children in their care as well, acknowledging the challenging circumstances they often undergo. The opportunity to bring a glimmer of joy to an unwell child is something that doesn't occur frequently.
