Catherine joined Danforth Care Homes as Regional Manager in 2024, bringing extensive experience in care home leadership. She oversees multiple homes, ensuring high standards of care and operational excellence. With a strong background in regional management, Catherine has led teams, supported home managers, and driven improvements in care quality. She is passionate about staff development, well-being, and creating a positive care environment.

Committed to compassionate care and best practices, Catherine works closely with her teams to ensure residents receive safe, high-quality support in a welcoming setting.

Martin Bate (Regional Learning & Development Manager)

Martin joined Danforth Care Homes in 2024 as Regional Learning & Development Manager for the Midlands, bringing over 10 years of experience in health and social care training. He ensures staff have the skills and confidence to deliver high-quality care. His career has taken him from Gardener and Maintenance Operative to Manager and Lead Trainer for a national care provider, giving him a hands-on understanding of the sector.

A lifelong Wolverhampton Wanderers fan, Martin has been a season ticket holder for over 45 years. He is excited to support Danforth teams and enhance training across the region.
