Gaynor joined Danforth Care Homes in 2024, bringing an impressive 37 years of experience in the healthcare sector, specialising in older adult care. Starting her career as a care assistant, she later qualified as a Registered General Nurse (RGN), a qualification she proudly maintains.
Having worked across Ireland and England, Gaynor has held key roles in regulatory and quality improvement, including working with Nursing Homes Ireland (NHI), where she collaborated with legislators, regulators, and ministers to shape policies for older adult care. With expertise in turnaround projects, change management, and quality improvement, she is passionate about enhancing care standards and making a lasting impact on residents' lives.
Karol joined Danforth Care Homes in October 2023, bringing nearly two decades of experience in the care sector. Originally from Czechoslovakia, he studied Technology and Patent Law before moving to the UK, where he discovered his passion for learning and development in care.
Starting as a Carer and Team Leader for Suffolk County Council in 2005, Karol progressed to roles including Group Trainer at Care UK and Training Manager at Trinity Care. Now, as Regional Learning & Development Manager for the South, he is committed to empowering staff, guided by Albert Einstein’s words: “Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death.”
