Welcome to Sid Bailey, which opened in April 2023. We are a luxury care home in Brampton, providing outstanding 24-hour residential, respite, and dementia care. We stand out amongst other care homes in Rotherham due to our exceptionally experienced staff dedicated to the individual needs of our residents.
Meet our Manager
Victoria Alder
Victoria began her career in the care sector while working in a care home kitchen during evenings after college. Despite pursuing a law degree at the University of Derby, her passion for making a difference in people's lives led her back to care, progressing from Care Assistant to Senior Care Assistant. In 2016, she trained as a Care Home Assistant Practitioner, working alongside nurses and earning a nomination for an award. After five years as a Clinical/Care Auditor, Victoria secured her first Registered Manager position. Drawn by the values and high standards at Danforth, she became the General Manager of Sid Bailey, where she strives to create a home-away-from-home experience for residents.

Danforth Care Homes offers short-term respite stays for older people who might not want or need to move in permanently, yet who need some extra help from time to time.

Dining at Sid Bailey
We truly understand the importance of good nutrition and enjoyable dining experiences for our residents. It’s more than just simply food. Created with fresh, locally sourced produce by our chef and their team, all meals are catered to each resident's specific dietary requirements. We also regularly host pop-up-themed restaurants, cookery classes, and more to keep mealtimes exciting and different.

Experience true Scottish spirit with us at Sid Bailey on Burns Night, as we welcome in bagpipers to address our Haggis served up by our talented chefs! We will then finish the evening with a complimentary Whiskey taster experience.
Charity Ball | 15th February | 18:00
Waltz on down to Sid Bailey for our Great Gatsby themed charity ball. With complimentary canapes and champagne, enjoy this evening of high class casino themed games all whilst supporting a great cause with a charity raffle in aid of the British Heart Foundation
Outdoor Wellness Festival | 30th March | 14:00
We are welcoming the arrival of Spring at Sid Bailey! Celebrate the longer days in our scenic gardens with a rejuvenating wellness session followed by a complimentary barbecue and live music. It's the perfect way to recharge your mind and body in the fresh air while enjoying great food and entertainment.

Landscaped Gardens
Our gardens are landscaped and designed to be accessible for all, with flat, even surfaces and raised beds to promote independence and provide somewhere to sit and watch the world go by. Our garden areas have been thoughtfully planned to encourage everyone to enjoy the outdoors.
Communal Lounges
There are a selection of lounge spaces and dining rooms on each floor, allowing everyone freedom of choice and the independence to move around the building as they please.
Cinema Room
Our cinema room is great for catching up on favourite programmes or just relaxing with a film. The room is multi-purpose and can easily be converted to a games room or other communal use. We can also arrange to set up a screen for Skype calls with loved ones.
Sweet Shop
Our Sweet Shop is a favourite place for our residents to indulge in some naughty and fun treats. The shop has a fantastic selection of traditional sweets that encapsulate memories from yesteryear. Treasured memories are assured all year round as the Sweet Shop changes with the seasons, supplying wonderful Easter eggs in Spring to special treats at Christmas.
