Arkall Manor Transforms into Hawaiian Paradise for Residents
Residents of Arkall Manor were transported to a tropical paradise as they enjoyed a delightful Hawaiian-themed pop-up restaurant event. The care home, located on Ashby Road in Tamworth, Staffordshire, transformed its lounges into a slice of Hawaii, complete with palm trees and vibrant table settings. This special day brought an island atmosphere to the heart of Staffordshire, lifting everyone's spirits.
Residents embraced the theme with great enthusiasm, donning leis and hula skirts. The event was a festival of flavours, featuring a specially curated menu. Guests enjoyed jerk chicken, cheese and pineapple, and for a sweet treat, decadent piña colada cupcakes.
Beyond the culinary delights, the day was filled with fun and entertainment. Hawaiian music set the tone and residents participated in traditional dancing. For those eager to test their knowledge, a themed quiz provided a joyous challenge.
