On Tuesday, residents Terri and Tori set out into the local community, enthusiastically promoting Sid Bailey and sharing their positive experiences with neighbours.
Wednesday was a day of culinary creativity, as residents enjoyed decorating biscuits. Later, they wound down with a delightful cheese and wine evening, fostering camaraderie and warm conversations.
Thursday marked the much-anticipated Danforth Chocolate Day. Residents indulged in chocolate-flavoured coffees, and a chocolate fountain delighted everyone with fresh fruit and marshmallows. These sweet treats continued after tea, ensuring that chocolate lovers were thoroughly satisfied.
As the week came to a close, the home buzzed with laughter during games and movie night, including a round of the ever-popular bingo. The highlight was Shirley’s 81st birthday celebration, a special occasion made extra sweet with a homemade cake and the company of her family.
