Residents of Rossendale House Care Home Enjoy a Pop-Up Movie Night with Delicious Delights!

Residents at Rossendale House Care Home were treated to a special surprise when a movie themed pop-up restaurant was set up for them. Calamity Jane was the movie of choice and with it came a delicious homemade pizza and chicken in a basket menu. To top it all off, ice cream and popcorn was served as side dishes.

The residents were delighted with the special get-together and enthusiastically praised the delicious meals. They absolutely loved the movie, engaging in conversation with each other about their favourite scenes and characters. It was truly a wonderful experience for the residents to have a day like this and be able to enjoy a unique meal with a beloved classic film.

The staff at Rossendale House Care Home was pleased to be able to provide a special event like this for their residents, giving them a chance to take a break from their daily routines and experience something new and exciting.

Rossendale House is delighted to announce the launch of 'Stuffed with Love', a fabulous new project to bridge the generational gap between the local community and its residents. For just £1, you can name our special teddy bear and help Rossendale House to foster meaningful relationships between the bear, the local children, and the whole community. Plus, your kind contribution will go to support Burnley Together, the charity chosen by Rossendale House.

You can also come down to their Open Day on the 12th of August from 12:00 - 16:00, or join the Cheese and Wine evening on Wednesday, 30th August from 17:00 - 19:00, and meet the bear in person!
