Primrose House Open Event Brings Fun and Community Spirit
For their open event, Primrose House teamed up with Hunsley Primary School to host a fun-filled day in the beautiful grounds of the home. Staff, residents, and members of the public enjoyed the sunny weather and a variety of activities held in the car park, with many visitors admiring the building's beauty. The event was a wonderful opportunity for residents and staff to come together and lift everyone’s spirits.
Primrose House set up a stall offering chances to win prizes through games like punch the squares, tombola, huck-a-duck, and a square game. Visitors enjoyed delicious breakfast sandwiches and explored stalls featuring sweet treats, wax melts and candles, homemade pottery and jewelry, local honey from a beekeeper, and many other items.
The highlight of the day was a performance by a local singer who entertained everyone with wonderful singing and dancing. It was heartwarming to see residents and members of the public enjoying the music and having a great time.
The dedicated team at Primrose House went above and beyond to decorate the building beautifully and set up the event. Their efforts, combined with the support from the community and generous stallholders who donated raffle prizes, made the day extra special. The event raised over £200, which will be a significant help to local charities. Overall, it was a fantastic day of fun, community spirit, and support for good causes.
