Opening the doors to residents at Sid Bailey Care Home

Sid Bailey Care Home was celebrating again this week: after weeks of hard work and preparation, the care home welcomed its first resident.

The first resident was given a warm welcome by staff. Speaking to the team he announced that he was delighted to be in Sid Bailey Care Home and had settled in very quickly.

The timing of his arrival couldn’t have been more perfect, as he arrived just in time to join in with the home’s Coronation Celebrations.

Sue Ravenhall, Sid Bailey Care Home Manager commented “It has been nice to welcome our first resident this week. Because we welcome new residents in stages it gives everyone a chance to settle in before they are joined by other residents. It’s a system that works well for staff and residents. Today was a really nice way for family and our new resident to get familiar with our facilities and the team that will be looking after him.”

Sid Bailey Care Home, which is based in Brampton, prides itself on its inclusivity and welcoming atmosphere for family and friends of residents, not just for special events.
