Harbour Manor's Spa Day: A Tranquil Retreat for Residents
The Harbour Manor in Felixstowe recently enveloped its residents in an oasis of tranquillity with their monthly Spa Day, a cherished event that continues to grow in popularity. The care home, nestled on Bluebell Way, transformed a room into a sanctuary of serenity, offering an escape from the everyday routine.
The atmosphere was soothing, with the gentle glow of candles and the enchanting melodies of harp music filling the room. The air carried the calming scents of essential oils, perfect for promoting deep relaxation. Residents were seen relishing every moment, sipping on Prosecco and orange juice whilst indulging in calming hand and foot massages.
A highlight of the event was when Primrose, one of the residents, volunteered yet again as a masseuse, providing delightful hand massages to her fellow companions. Her generosity and skill truly added a special touch to the day. For some, the relaxation reached such an extent that they succumbed to a peaceful nap, lulled by the calming environment.
Spa Days like these are a testament to the nurturing environment at Harbour Manor. As the residents left the room with relaxed smiles, there was an eager anticipation for the next session. The commitment to the well-being of its residents truly sets Harbour Manor apart as the ideal choice for loved ones.
