On Friday 28th April, Sid Bailey Care Home celebrated it's Grand Open Evening. What a
fantastic night: a culmination of months of hard work by the team at Sid Bailey.
The Care home was opened by John Healey MP and Sid Bailey’s daughter Adele Riles and her brother Brendan Bailey.
The home welcomed local singer Sondelle Whitaker to provide a mixture of easy-listening sounds from different eras: bringing something for everyone.
The Head Chef created a mouth-watering buffet of beef in Yorkshire puddings, salad, sandwiches, fishcakes, and an assortment of homemade quiches and sausage rolls. For pudding trifle, and an assortment of freshly made cakes and desserts. All washed down with a choice of drinks.
Guests were also treated to a guided tour of the Luxury Care Homes by the Sid Bailey Team.
As Care Home Manager Sue Ravenhall summarised. “I am really proud of what we have achieved today. The team has all worked tirelessly to make this event a success. I would like to thank Sid Bailey’s family for their amazing support over the last few months, particularly his children Adele and Brendan. Thanks also to John Healey for his continued support.”
The team have already welcomed their first resident on 2nd May, with the second arriving on the 10th.
