Last week, Brook Lodge was filled with the enchanting melodies of singer Peter James, who transported residents on a musical journey through the decades. With his repertoire of upbeat old-school classics, Peter’s voice travelled through the lounge and corridors with infectious energy, eliciting foot-tapping and joyful sing-alongs from residents. To complement the musical ambiance, the talented chefs prepared a delightful selection of homemade cakes, adding a touch of sweetness to the afternoon.
Not content to confine the festivities indoors, residents seized the opportunity to bask in the glorious sunshine a few days later. Gathering in the garden with staff, they indulged in a charming tea party, continuing the celebration of camaraderie and good cheer under the suns dazzling rays.
Brook Lodge became a haven of warmth and joy as it welcomes in Spring, where cherished moments are shared and memories were made. Through these simple yet profound moments.
