Residents at Meadow Croft in Garstang enjoyed a truly memorable and bustling Saturday. The care home, in the Danforth Care Homes group, celebrated not one but two special occasions, creating an atmosphere of joy and togetherness.
The day kicked off with the Danforth in Bloom party, where the care home was adorned with beautiful floral arrangements. This delightful setting set the tone for a series of enjoyable activities. In the morning, residents kept active with exercises set to 70's disco music, bringing smiles and laughter as they moved to the upbeat tunes.
Adding to the festive spirit, the home also celebrated the birthday of one of their lovely residents. The afternoon was marked by a wonderful tea buffet birthday party. The spread featured an array of tasty foods and sweet treats that everyone relished. The birthday lady was particularly touched by the celebration, her happiness clearly visible to all attending. It was a heartwarming moment that highlights the caring environment at Meadow Croft.
Entertainment continued throughout the day with music sessions, engaging crosswords, and even some fun with hula necklaces. The laughter and camaraderie among residents and staff were infectious.
As the busy day wound down, residents enjoyed a relaxing evening watching the racing together. It was the perfect end to a day filled with celebrations and activities, leaving everyone looking forward to the next event.
Meadow Croft remains a place where every day is made special, ensuring that every resident feels cherished and part of a loving family. Happy Saturday from all at Meadow Croft!
