Heath Lodge celebrate their ‘Good’ CQC rating with a party!
Heath Lodge Care Home held a celebratory party after their recent successful CQC inspection, during which they received a ‘good’ rating in all 5 areas. Care Home Manager, Hazel, was delighted to share the news with the staff, residents, and their families, and wanted to show her appreciation.
To make the day extra special, Hazel booked local musician Barny Holmes to come and perform. Barny entertained the whole home with sing-alongs and popular hits which had everyone dancing and singing along. Barny treated everyone to Heath Lodge’s signature song, ‘I am the music man’, which everyone knows the actions to too! They sang and danced and had a lovely buffet. It was a lovely way to celebrate this wonderful achievement together.
The home's chefs also added to the occasion by serving up a delicious home-made buffet spread for everyone to enjoy. Homemade canapes, pork pies, a varied selection of sandwiches and lovely, delicious cakes were also to be found on the buffet which everyone enjoyed.
After such an enjoyable day, Heath Lodge Care Home couldn't be prouder of all their hard-working staff and the care and attention they give to their residents. A momentous occasion indeed. The care home is now looking to the future with optimism and is excited to continue their path of providing top quality care for their residents.
Hazel Madden, Care Home Manager of Heath Lodge, has expressed her joy at the result of the inspection: "I am thrilled with our team's work. The outcome of this inspection is a clear demonstration of all the dedication and passion put in to ensuring our residents get the highest quality of care. I am very pleased that all of our efforts have been highlighted in such a positive light."
