Heartwarming Reunion and Summer Treats at Orchard Manor
Last week, Orchard Manor resident Maggie was over the moon to be reunited with her daughter after a year.
They had a wonderful visit to Windlesham, enjoying a lovely lunch together, participating in activities around the home, and taking a sunny walk
in the park.
The warm weather also brought an exciting treat for all the residents as an ice cream truck visited the home.
Residents enjoyed a range of ice creams in the garden, from classic vanilla cones toadventurous flavours with sprinkles, sauces, and flakes.
In addition to savouring their ice creams, residents took advantage of the nice weather by getting out into the garden to pot plants. They also engaged in a creative project, upcycling loo rolls to create bird feeders with peanut butter and bird seeds, encouraging more wildlife to visit the gardens.
Danforth Care Homes are currently welcoming residents, If you or a loved one wish to find out more information or come along, explore the facilities, and meet the staff, you can do so by contacting the enquiry team.
