From dawn, the care home buzzed with energy as residents, supported by the lifestyle team, engaged in crafting colourful Diwali lights. Using coloured clay to create intricate lamp holders, they demonstrated impressive hand-eye coordination—a rewarding and enjoyable activity for all involved.

The lounge and dining areas transformed into a kaleidoscope of colour, reflecting the essence of Diwali. Residents delved into the story of Diwali, finding the narratives both engaging and enlightening. The rich tapestry of Indian culture became a living story within the walls of Rossendale House.

As the morning transitioned into afternoon, an Indian-themed lunch awaited. Prepared with dedication by the talented catering team, the meal was a testament to the home’s commitment to providing residents with diverse and delightful experiences.
