Broadlands Lodge gave a huge welcome to its newest team member: Care Home Manager Tamara Crosswell this week.
Tamara joined the team on Monday and immediately threw herself into the role, getting to know staff and residents alike.
Tamara comes to Broadlands after working in adult social care, for just under 16 years, starting as a care assistant and working her way up to a high manager level.
For the last 7 years, Tamara has worked for Castlemeadow Care where in 2021 she was awarded the top 20 care home in the East of England. She brings with her a wealth of practical experience and knowledge, coupled with a genuine passion and enthusiasm for high-quality care.
Tamara’s philosophy is that all residents come first and are encouraged to live their lives to the fullest. She recognises that everyone is an individual and that we are privileged to work in our resident’s homes, treating them as part of our extended family.
Tamara continues “Broadlands Lodge and the Danforth Care Homes ethos is a perfect fit for me. The brand values of Authentic, Inclusive, Respectful, Empowerment, and Individual could not be closer to who I am and how I work. I am grateful to the team who have been so supportive and welcoming.”
Jess Blythe Chief of staff at Danforth Care homes added “We are delighted to welcome Tamara onboard. Her experience and credentials speak for themselves. She has some exciting plans for Broadlands Lodge and I look forwards to seeing her ideas take shape over the coming months. Tamara has been brought in to take Broadland on the next part of its exciting journey, and Broadlands could not be in safer hands.”
