A Week of Empowerment and Enjoyment at Old Norse Lodge

Last week at Old Norse Lodge, residents were actively involved in various activities that brought both joy and a sense of purpose. Vicky, one of our residents, took the initiative to care for the flowers, removing the dead ones and rearranging the remaining blooms to keep our spaces looking vibrant and fresh.

In a continued effort to empower our residents, many took part in daily tasks such as laying the tables and distributing snacks. Betty, in particular, finds great satisfaction in helping out and plays a key role in these activities.

The week was further brightened by a visit from the Friendship at Home choir, who performed for our residents. The familiar tunes had everyone singing along, creating a wonderful atmosphere of music and camaraderie.

It's been a fulfilling week, filled with both active participation and entertainment, highlighting the strong sense of community at Old Norse Lodge.
