Montagu Hall Hosts a Heartwarming Veterans' Breakfast
Last week, Montagu Hall had the privilege of welcoming local veterans to share a breakfast with one of our own residents who is also a veteran. This gathering provided a meaningful opportunity for comrades to reconnect, share stories, and enjoy the warm hospitality of our home.
Building on the success of a previous event, we were delighted to see even more veterans attend this time, including members of the Royal British Legion, with whom we have strong ties. The increasing participation shows that our efforts to reach out to the local veteran community are making an impact.
We were also honoured to welcome representatives from OP Courage and Walking with the Wounded, organizations dedicated to supporting veterans in various ways. Their presence added a special touch to the event, further strengthening the sense of community and support.
Given the positive response, we are excited to announce that we will be making this Veterans' Breakfast a regular monthly event. Our next gathering is scheduled for Thursday, 5th September, and we look forward to continuing to foster these valuable connections.
Danforth Care Homes are currently welcoming residents, If you or a loved one wish to find out more information or come along, explore the facilities, and meet the staff, you can do so by contacting the enquiry team.
