Residents at Broadlands Lodge Care Home in Postwick recently experienced a day of fun, laughter and joy thanks to a special event held at the home.

The event, titled ‘A Day in the Life,’ saw the 66-bed purpose-built care home bring together family, friends, the local community, and entertainer Nigel Boy Sayer for a fulfilled activity packed day for all to enjoy together. Broadlands Lodge specialises in dementia, respite, and residential care and offers a range of activities and services to meet the needs of its residents. The home's dedicated team provide a caring and supportive environment allowing residents to live a fulfilled life whilst maintaining independence where possible.

“A Day in the Life” saw residents enjoying a host of activities, including the creation of their own cupcakes, with the help of the dedicated team, accompanied with a performance by Nigel Boy Sayer, delicious homemade food, chair Zumba and a photobooth with props to keep everyone in laughter.

The home, which is nestled in the picturesque village of Postwick, was filled with joy and laughter, with residents and attendees alike enjoying the special day. Broadlands Lodge is surrounded by beautiful countryside and nearby amenities. The home boasts a variety of modern amenities and facilities, including a restaurant-style dining room, sky bar, cinema, beauty salon, and a comfortable lounge which are all used for various meaningful activities for residents and their loved ones to enjoy.
