At Woodland Court, located on Guinevere Road in Beacon Park, Great Yarmouth, there was a delightful start to what promises to be many joyful days. Since its recent opening, the care home has been eagerly preparing to offer its new residents a warm and vibrant community atmosphere. This week, the team welcomed its very first residents, marking a memorable beginning with the charming Maggie Duffy.

Maggie, known for her kindness and caring nature, was the perfect choice for Woodland Court's inaugural "Resident of the Day." To honour this special occasion, the staff orchestrated a lively celebration tailored to Maggie's passions. The afternoon was filled with the joyful tunes of country music playing on the television, setting the scene for a spontaneous line dancing session.

Maggie's love for country music and dance shone through as she engaged in learning the "One Step Forward" and "Red Hot Salsa" line dances, spreading laughter and cheer throughout the home. The day was more than just a celebration; it was a reflection of the companionship and personalised care that Woodland Court aims to offer all its residents.
