Woodland Court Celebrates Circus Day with Spectacular Show

Woodland Court, nestled in the heart of Beacon Park, Great Yarmouth, recently hosted a magical celebration honouring International Circus Day. The event coincided with Easter Sunday, adding an extra layer of joy to the festivities. Embracing the local cultural heritage, the care home brought the vibrant charm of Great Yarmouth’s rich artistic history to life.

Renowned for its artistic legacy, Great Yarmouth is home to the iconic Hippodrome Circus, the world’s last remaining purpose-built circus theatre. In the spirit of this tradition, Woodland Court invited Circus Kenny to put on an unforgettable show for the residents and their families.

The afternoon was filled with excitement as Circus Kenny wowed the crowd with an incredible array of circus skills. Residents were treated to a thrilling workshop where they experienced hands-on circus fun, learning to balance hats and handle juggling clubs. The event culminated in a spectacular 45-minute performance featuring acrobatics, fire eating, juggling, the Diablo, and balloon modeling.
