Heatherton House is proud to announce the first month of opening of their new care home! Come and visit them for a coffee and cake afternoon on Thursdays, 3-4pm, or head to the Tiki Bar for a cocktail and a catch up after your show around.
The residents have been loving their activity programme and it hasn’t stopped there – The Heatherton House team took part in ‘31 Miles in May’ to raise awareness of Dementia UK, and a huge £675 was raised with the generosity of the public. Well done to the team at Heatherton House for all your hard work and dedication.
The weather held out for one of Heatherton House resident’s activities celebrating Summer Solstice- the home’s residents have been getting creative with a baking session. Their hard work visibly paid off, producing some extremely delicious cakes for everyone to enjoy outside in the garden. The table was soon filled with mouth-watering creations, and it’s safe to say it was a success!
They also have held two great Open Day event’s; the home was delighted to welcome local members of the community to an Open Day held in June. Delicious canapés were served along with beautiful music from a talented harpist, alongside tours of our luxury facilities. It was a great success and the home look forward to doing more similar events in the future.
To top it all off, Heatherton House Care Home achieved the highest of ratings for their food hygiene. Each and every member of the team should be proud of their hard work, and we look forward to celebrating more successes.
