Cocktail cupcakes are on the menu!

Despite the unexpected Burnley weather threatening to rain on their parade, the residents and staff of Rossendale House Care Home were not discouraged and held their indoor garden party with great success.

The party featured cocktails and canapes, as well as the lovely Rachel performing songs from both past and present. Everyone in attendance was certainly in the party mood, and the compliments about the home were glowing - the residents declared that the care home was like a hotel, with wonderful food and polite staff.

The crowning glory of the event was the homemade cocktail-flavoured cupcakes, which proved extremely popular with all in attendance. The party residents and their family members were in high spirits and were only too happy to try a variety of delicious concoctions.

This month marked the third open day event hosted by Rossendale House Care Home. It was an event full of life and joy, despite the awful weather, and everyone involved had an amazing time.

The residents of Rossendale House Care Home have expressed their delight and satisfaction with the event, thanking the care home’s managers, and staff for giving them the opportunity to make the most of a special day and share it with their loved ones.

One resident of Rossendale House commented, "What an amazing indoor garden party we had despite the Burnley weather! It was fabulous to enjoy cocktails and canapes with our families while listening to the beautiful music from Rachel. The homemade cocktail flavoured cupcakes were so delicious and got so much praise from everyone. Rossendale House truly is like a hotel, it's so new and fresh with outstanding food, and the staff are the greatest. I'm really looking forward to the next one!"

The care home has announced that it will continue the tradition of holding monthly open days and that they look forward to the next one.

All in all, this was an unforgettable day for everyone involved, despite the dreary weather.
