Despite the great British weather not playing ball, spirits at Primrose House in Brough weren't dampened. Residents and staff moved the planned garden party indoors and had an unforgettable day filled with laughter and summer vibes.
Colourful décor transformed the spacious lounge areas into a festive indoor garden. The event began with a delicious feast, featuring mouth-watering burgers and a delightful dessert buffet. Residents enjoyed their meals, chatting and sharing stories, creating a warm and social atmosphere.
Post-lunch, the fun truly began. The lounge buzzed with excitement as everyone gathered for action-packed activities. A competitive game of ball throw kicked things off, followed by thrilling rounds of frisbee target and bean bag toss. Residents demonstrated skill and enthusiasm, achieving impressive scores and cheering each other on.
Next, it was quiz time. Residents tested their knowledge in a lively quiz, with questions that sparked friendly debates and lots of laughter. Rita emerged victorious as our quiz master, earning well-deserved applause and a proud smile.
The joyous atmosphere continued with a dance and sing-along session. Music filled the air, and Brenda confidently swept the floor, winning the dancing contest with her energetic moves. The sing-along brought everyone together, ending the event on a high note and leaving smiles on every face.
