At Old Norse Lodge, residents and staff have had an eventful and heartwarming week, filled with gardening, community outreach, and acts of kindness.
Keith, one of the residents, took advantage of the sunny weather to plant strawberry plants in the garden, adding to the home’s vibrant and productive outdoor space.
In celebration of International Nurses Day, Rachael, the manager, and Charlene, the care manager, visited local GP practices to deliver sweet treats and cards. This gesture was a heartfelt thank you to the nurses for their dedication and hard work.
Additionally, Julie, the lifestyle assistant, and a unit manager accompanied some residents on a trip to Aldi. During their visit, they delighted shoppers by handing out treats as part of a series of random acts of kindness. This not only brightened the day for the recipients but also brought smiles and a sense of community to everyone involved.
These activities reflect the caring and proactive spirit of Old Norse Lodge, where residents and staff alike contribute to creating a warm and supportive environment.
