It's been a week filled with warmth, laughter, and furry friends at Primrose House in Brough. Residents were delighted by a special visit from Shetland Ponies and Animal Friends, which brought an extra spark of joy into their daily routine.
Gemma and her two Shetland therapy ponies instantly became the stars of the day. These gentle creatures charmed everyone with their calm demeanor and friendly nature as they made their way through the home. Residents eagerly petted and engaged with the ponies, and their faces lit up with happiness. Moments spent with animals have been shown to reduce stress and lift spirits, and this visit certainly brought plenty of smiles all around.
But the animal fun didn’t stop there. Angel and her adorable puppies also paid a visit, much to the delight of everyone. Residents couldn't get enough of the playful pups, showering them with love and cuddles. Their visit sparked lively conversations among the residents, who reminisced about their own pets and shared cherished memories.
A second visit from Angel and her growing puppies nearly a week later was a heartwarming surprise. Everyone was astonished at how quickly the puppies had grown and eagerly welcomed them back for more snuggles. The joy and excitement were palpable, creating a truly special atmosphere within the home.
