Rossendale Residents Relish Enjoy Day at Lytham St Annes
Residents of Rossendale House in Burnley recently enjoyed a delightful day trip to Lytham St Annes, filling their time with laughter and shared memories. The group visited the picturesque Lowther Gardens, where they admired the vibrant summer flowers in full bloom. It was there that the residents took a moment to have their picture taken with the Bobby Ball memorial, an experience that was especially touching for resident Brian Beedham. Brian fondly recounted his first wedding where the beloved comedian, Bobby Ball, had the privilege of standing beside him as his best man.
Following their garden visit, the group ventured onto the pier, savouring the classic British treat of a chip butty by the sea. As they strolled along the pier, the refreshing summer air added to their sense of joy and camaraderie. With spirits high, the trip continued with a scenic drive along Blackpool’s lively seafront, allowing for further moments of reflection and connection.
The residents returned to Rossendale House glowing from their day out, expressing their delight at the opportunity to enjoy the glorious summer weather and the chance to step out of the usual routine. The enthusiastic feedback from all involved encapsulated the warm community spirit that Rossendale House fosters, ensuring that each resident continues to feel valued and cared for.
