Promotions and Awards for Broadlands Lodge Care Home

Broadlands Lodge Care Home recently celebrated the promotion of Beth to unit manager, and her Employee of the Month Award. With a record of dedicated and compassionate care, Beth went above and beyond by dedicating her time and energy to a resident at the home, despite a 12-hour shift.

When the resident was unexpectedly taken into hospital, Beth visited her in her hour of need, bringing homemade cupcakes and birthday cards, only to find out later that night that the resident was due to return home on their birthday. After receiving the news, Beth immediately ran around to decorate the resident’s room with balloons, banners, and flowers to make their return home that much more special.

The willingness to go to such lengths in providing comforting and loving care to our residents is a quality that we believe our staff should excel at, and Beth has certainly embodied that perfectly! Reports of the care shown by Beth towards the resident have been nothing short of exceptional, and here at Broadlands Lodge Care Home we are proud to have such a caring employee as part of our team.

We hope this is just the beginning of the long and happy career that lies ahead for Beth as she continues to provide the highest level of care here at Broadlands Lodge Care Home

The care home was overwhelmed by Beth's efforts and were delighted to present her with the Employee of the Month award.
