Primrose House recently had the pleasure of hosting celebrity chef Theo Michaels, adding a touch of culinary flair to their dining experience. Theo delighted residents with a delectable spread of Brazilian cuisine, carefully curated by food ambassador Bill Wright.
The theme of the day was Brazil, and the ambiance reflected this vibrancy, with colourful decorations adorning the lounge and kitchen areas. Residents had the opportunity to showcase their creativity by crafting handcrafted masks, adding a personalized touch to the festivities.
The culinary journey began with a tantalizing fish stew known as moqueca, bursting with the flavours of onions, garlic, and lime. This was followed by the main course, feijoada, a hearty stew featuring a medley of beans, pork, and beef, delivering a burst of savoury goodness with every bite. To round off the meal on a sweet note, residents indulged in passion fruit mousse, accompanied by refreshing Virgin Caipirinhas and Brazilian wine.
Following the sumptuous feast, residents embraced the lively spirit of Brazil as they danced the afternoon away. Guided by step-by-step lessons, everyone joined in the fun, creating cherished memories and moments of joy together. It was an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, delicious food, and the joy of shared moments at Primrose House.
