April Fools' Day brought laughter and lighthearted fun to Sid Bailey over the weekend. The day began with a playful prank as residents received a letter announcing the cancellation of their beloved bingo game, across all homes in Yorkshire. However, the quick wit of the residents soon revealed the joke, and laughter filled the air as they realised the ruse.
Relieved that bingo was indeed not cancelled, residents settled in for their game. Little did they know, another April Fools' surprise awaited them. As the game progressed, an unexpected twist emerged: every resident found themselves calling "bingo!" simultaneously, discovering that they all had the exact same numbers on their cards. This delightful joke added an extra layer of amusement to the day, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared joy among the residents of Sid Bailey. They managed to enjoy a couple more real games of bingo after the pranks, with Easter themed chocolate prizes for the winners.
