At Pear Tree House the dedicated team members are always looking for exciting events to take part in. Over the last week our residents have invited visitors into Pear Tree House to celebrate, and have also enjoyed another trip out.
Residents were delighted to visit the local Fire Station to celebrate emergency services day. The visit included a tour around the Fire Station which was incredibly interesting for all who were able to take part. The residents were then invited to try on some of the Fire Uniform. The residents thoroughly enjoyed this and were grateful to the Fire Station for allowing the residents to celebrate tis special day with them.
Pear Tree House run a regular Blue Light Breakfast in which all emergency service members are invited along to Pear Tree House to enjoy a ‘Blue Light Breakfast’. This is held every second Tuesday of the month 10am-11am. The residents look forward to meeting more of our incredibly valued, heroic team members; or simply supporting with a take away hot drink and breakfast sandwich.
Another day which Pear Tree House resident’s celebrated was National Grandparents Day. Residents at Pear Tree House were delighted to invite their families to celebrate in style with a lovely home-made Sunday Roast.
The residents look forward to their fabulous Roast Dinners each week and are always delighted to see the large menu choice available. Residents feedback is at the heart of everything the team at Pear Tree House do; so menus are designed with this in mind. A recent meal chosen by the residents was a simplistic, but delicious buffet tea which was thoroughly enjoyed by our residents and their families followed with eyes down for a full house! Bingo is one of the many activities residents are able to choose as a pass time.
