An adventurous spirit has started, Sid Bailey’s 'Stuffed with Love' bear embarked on an extraordinary adventure to Florida with Mathew Lainton, Night Care Manager at Sid Bailey Care Home and his family.
Amidst the care and dedication of both staff and residents, the bear prepared to take flight on an aeroplane, poised to explore the world and uncover the wonders that lay beyond the horizon.
The purpose of this once in a lifetime opportunity was to share with Bear, life experiences in a different country.
Florida described as the most magical place on earth was truly an exciting trip for Matthew and his family and they said it was an honour to have Bear join them.
Matthew’s daughter was so happy she had a companion on her trip and made sure Bear met friends along the way, including Minnie & Mickey Mouse & ensured bear also visited the magnificent Cinderella Castle which welcomes visitors from around the world to a magical world where dreams come true.
The journey of Sid Baileys Care Home's ‘Stuffed with Love’ bear has been what can only be described as magical. As the bear returned home to Sid Bailey, it carried with it not only the memories of an incredible journey but also the spirit of joy what Florida had to offer.
