Pear Tree House Residents Tee Off for Joyful Golf Day
At Pear Tree House, the sound of cheerful laughter recently filled the air, bringing joy to residents and staff alike, as the care home hosted an exciting indoor golf day. The team at Pear Tree House had a brilliant idea: if residents couldn't go to the golf course, they would bring the golf course to them. It was a day to cherish, with participants from all corners of the care home gathered to rediscover the joys of golf.
Armed with putters and golf balls, residents were thrilled to have a go at hitting their targets. Residents put their hand-eye coordination to the test in friendly competition. Some residents showed skills that surprised even themselves, showcasing their determination and precision.
The event was designed not only to entertain but also to encourage participation and skill development. As the day went on, new friendships blossomed and old ones were renewed, all over shared moments on the makeshift golf green.
Although no one managed a hole-in-one this time, everyone agrees that it was a smashing success, with plans already in motion for the next round. It’s events like these that make Pear Tree House a warm and welcoming home, one where residents feel a true sense of belonging and community.
Danforth Care Homes are currently welcoming residents, If you or a loved one wish to find out more information or come along, explore the facilities, and meet the staff, you can do so by contacting the enquiry team.
