Wimbledon came to Montagu Hall this afternoon, bringing excitement and joy to the residents and their weekly visitors from the local nursery. Hannah, the Lifestyle Assistant, had everything prepared for the occasion, including paper plates, straws, balloons, Sellotape, and colouring pencils.
Residents and nursery children worked together to create small tennis rackets, colouring them in and blowing up balloons. Once the preparations were complete, an impromptu tennis match began, filling the hall with laughter and friendly competition.
After the fun-filled activity, the residents waved goodbye to the children, eagerly looking forward to their visit next week. The Wimbledon-themed afternoon was a wonderful way for the residents and children to bond and enjoy each other's company.
