Meadow Croft Celebrates National Picnic Day and Inspires Future Carers
This week at Meadow Croft, National Picnic Day and National Careers Week were celebrated with a delightful picnic lunch sponsored by Danforth. Residents and staff relished the sunny weather, enjoying delicious food and delightful company outdoors.
Simultaneously, members of the lifestyle and care team took part in a Career Carousel event at St. Mary and Michael Catholic Primary School. During the event, enthusiastic children from Heron Class eagerly posed questions about the team's roles and the experience of working in care.
The students' curiosity and enthusiasm were truly inspiring, suggesting that some may become future team members in the years ahead. This exchange underscored the significance of the team's work and the potential for a new generation of caregivers dedicated to making a positive impact.
Danforth Care Homes are currently welcoming residents, If you or a loved one wish to find out more information or come along, explore the facilities, and meet the staff, you can do so by contacting the enquiry team.
