Heath Lodge introduce Stars and Heroes!
Heath Lodge Care Home in June implemented 'Star of the Month' and 'Hero of the Month', and the response has been nothing short of exciting.
The awards honour staff members and residents that go above and beyond when it comes to providing care and attention. This month's Hero of the Month award goes to the home's unsung hero Ashleigh Pearson. Ashleigh was nominated by a resident relative who praised her for the exceptional care and thought she showed towards both herself and her mother.
In similar fashion, Jane Allum was the deserving winner of the Star of the Month award. Jane's nomination praised her for her unwavering care, kindness, and dedication to the residents.
Heath Lodge Home Manager, Hazel Madden said, "We are particularly proud of Ashleigh and Jane for the incredible work they do here on a daily basis. They truly make a difference to the lives of our residents, and everyone here cannot thank them enough.”
To show recognition for their incredible work ethic, both Ashleigh and Jane were presented with a certificate of achievement and a bundle of gifts outlining their invaluable support to those in their care.
Heath Lodge Care Home is an independent home providing residential, respite and dementia care to elders. The home’s ‘Star of the Month’ and ‘Hero of the Month’ awards were implemented to ensure staff, residents, and relatives remain connected and celebrated for their vital contributions to the home.
