The residents and staff at Primrose House in Brough gathered for a glamorous Great Gatsby-themed charity event that transported everyone back to the roaring 1920s. The reception was enchantingly adorned with exquisite decor, creating an atmosphere filled with the charm and elegance of yesteryear.
Guests were greeted like stars on a shimmering red carpet, lined with striking tall vases and a show-stealing balloon centrepiece. Backdrops glistened as glittery garlands and pom poms floated above, crafting a dreamlike setting.
The highlight of the evening was the thrilling performance by John Roberts. His lively renditions had everyone clapping along and grinning from ear to ear, filling the room with infectious energy.
A lavish buffet awaited, offering an array of delectable dishes reminiscent of a Gatsby feast. The pièce de résistance was the cocktail fountain flowing with non-alcoholic cosmos, adding a touch of sparkle to the festivities.
The evening was truly a whirlwind of joy, leaving everyone with wonderful memories of a delightful experience. Primrose House proved once again to be a vibrant community, dedicated to creating memorable moments for all its residents.
