Festive Joy Unites Rossendale House and Rosewood School
Rossendale House in Burnley has been buzzing with festive cheer this week, thanks to a heartwarming collaboration with Rosewood Primary School. The care home ensured Christmas was celebrated in full swing, involving every resident in the joyful activities that brought smiles to many faces.
The week began with an exciting visit to the school, where some of the care home's residents had the pleasure of watching the Key Stage One students perform the 'Wriggly Nativity'. The performance was a delightful treat, and the residents were truly amazed by the children's talents, enjoying a glimpse into the vibrant community.
Midweek, the magic continued as children from Rosewood Primary visited Rossendale House to make Christmas cards with the residents. These cards were destined for vulnerable members of the community, and everyone took great care in crafting them, knowing the extra comfort they would provide.
Finally, the week concluded on a high note with a performance by the children's Christmas choir at the care home. The melodic voices of the young performers captivated the residents, leaving them in awe of the talent displayed.
This enriching partnership between Rossendale House and Rosewood Primary School not only spread festive spirit but also highlighted the strong community bonds that truly make the season special.
