Ducklings Delight Residents in Broadlands Lodge Easter Celebration
At Broadlands Lodge in Norfolk, the residents have enjoyed a truly delightful Easter celebration this year. The main attraction and source of joy were the five ducklings that made their debut in an incubator at the care home. Residents were enchanted as they watched the ducklings hatch, grow, and eventually take their first joyous splashes in a specially-created "little pond".
The Easter festivities didn't stop there. Residents joined in the fun by decorating their own Easter bonnets, singing along to the classic tune "Easter Parade" with great enthusiasm. The celebrations extended to a charming Easter market, bringing together both residents and staff in a vibrant display of Easter cheer.
Families were invited to join in on Easter Sunday for a special service, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere that everyone cherished. Ending the delightful Easter celebrations on a sweet note, everyone enjoyed much-anticipated Easter eggs.
Broadlands Lodge continues to provide a welcoming environment where residents can create cherished memories, bringing smiles and fostering a sense of community. It's a testament to the caring dedication of the staff, ensuring residents enjoy both new experiences and treasured traditions.
