Danforth Care Homes Raises £900 for The British Heart Foundation
In February, Danforth Care Homes celebrated the month of love with a series of afternoon high tea events, raising an incredible £900 for The British Heart Foundation. Today, our Operations Director, Joanna Roberts, proudly handed over the cheque to Becky.
Jo who chose this charity as it holds a special place in her heart shared, "I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all our teams across our group for their dedication and commitment in raising money for the British Heart Foundation, which is a very personal charity to me. I am very proud of each and every one of you.”
Becky from The British Heart Foundation expressed her gratitude, saying, "We're so grateful to Danforth Care Homes for choosing to support us and raise vital funds. Heart and circulatory diseases are one of the biggest killers in this country, with someone dying from these conditions every three minutes. It's only with the support from the public that we can continue to fund vital research and discover the next scientific breakthrough. Thank you."
We extend our deepest thanks to all of our homes for their incredible contribution to such an important cause. Together, we're making a difference!
