We're excited to share our latest collaboration at Danforth Care Homes. Our talented chefs have been working closely with the team at allmanhall, food procurement experts, to create a menu that has been meticulously reviewed by their Registered Dietitian Tess Warnes and Nutritionist Rachael Venditti.
Our hospitality team dedicates a tremendous amount of time and effort into planning and developing seasonal menus to ensure our residents receive a well-balanced diet.
Tess and Rachael have confirmed that our four-week menu "offers an excellent range of foods, is varied, nutritionally balanced, and specifically tailored to support the nutritional needs of older adults in care. The menu is designed to cater to residents who are nutritionally well and those who are nutritionally vulnerable. Careful consideration has been given to all aspects of the menu cycle, including snacks between meals, which are crucial for supporting older adults in meeting their nutritional needs".
We are proud of this collaboration and the positive impact it will have on the health and well-being of our residents. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to innovate and improve our culinary offerings!
