Well-being for residents is at the forefront of everything Coronation House does, and social interaction is crucial for the often-forgotten older generation. With everyone leading busy lives, children bring a unique joy and excitement to the home. This was evident during the first visit from Friend in Deed.
Residents were delighted by the presence of babies and children, engaging with mothers and reminiscing about their own children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren. The conversations sparked by the visit continued long after the little visitors had left, carrying on well into bedtime. It's often the small things that make the biggest impact, and this visit brought immense joy and reflection to the residents.
Danforth Care Homes are currently welcoming residents, If you or a loved one wish to find out more information or come along, explore the facilities, and meet the staff, you can do so by contacting the enquiry team.
