Coronation House Residents Enjoy Joyful RSPB Birdwatch Event
Residents at Coronation House in Thetford, Norfolk, have recently delighted in participating in the RSPB Birdwatch event between the 24th and 26th of January. Demonstrating their environmental commitment and eagerness to connect with nature, the staff and residents worked together to create a bird-friendly haven in the care home’s garden.
Armed with enthusiasm and creativity, residents crafted homemade bird feeders using apples, toilet rolls coated with peanut butter or lard, and a sprinkling of bird seed. By installing additional feeders filled with seeds and mealworms, they successfully attracted numerous birds, bringing vibrant life to the garden.
Excitement buzzed around Coronation House as several feathered friends made their appearance, much to the delight of everyone involved. The residents are optimistic that as Spring approaches and the garden blossoms, even more birds will grace them with their presence.
Coronation House’s participation in such engaging activities reflects the nurturing and attentive environment fostered by the dedicated staff. The care home provides enriching experiences for its residents, ensuring a warm and vibrant community life. Families considering Coronation House can rest assured that their loved ones will enjoy an environment filled with care, compassion, and enriching activities.
