Our amazing Care Home Manager Carol Preston has just completed a charity fundraiser, which was a little unusual.
Carol has just completed a walk on fire and Ice, for the charity Suffolk Mind. Suffolk Mind’s support includes a wide range of courses, training and therapeutic services which can enable a better understanding of mental wellbeing and how to improve or maintain mental health.
“Suffolk Mind supports people with mental illness and it’s a charity close to my heart.”
Carol is no stranger to charity as she was also involved in the Holt Community Cafe Christmas Lunch She had an amazing time and as Carol said at the time.
“It was great fun, and also very humbling to be able to give something back to the Community.”
Carol’s community-minded and selfless approach embodies the values of the Danforth Care Home Group.
These values are the glue that holds their teams together and runs through everything they do. The Danforth Values are Authentic, Inclusive, Respectful, Empowerment & Individual.
