Broadlands Lodge Hosts First Twinkle Toes Music and Movement Class
Broadlands Lodge recently held its very first Twinkle Toes music and movement class in collaboration with Friend in Deed. Friend in Deed regularly visits the home, and the residents enjoy the presence of the young visitors so much that this special class was organised to bring even more joy.
The Twinkle Toes music and movement class is centred around songs, actions, instruments, fun activities, and bubbly entertainment. Each week features a different theme and a variety of activities, including parachute time and sensory play, all focused on developmental growth.
The residents of Broadlands Lodge were thrilled to watch the children play and interact with each other. They also had the opportunity to participate in some of the activities, which brought huge smiles to their faces. This delightful event highlighted the joy of intergenerational activities, creating cherished memories for both the young and elderly participants.
Danforth Care Homes are currently welcoming residents, If you or a loved one wish to find out more information or come along, explore the facilities, and meet the staff, you can do so by contacting the enquiry team.
