Residents at Broadlands Lodge Care Home in Norwich had a heartwarming afternoon last month. The residents, alongside staff, hosted an afternoon tea at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH). Cakes and drinks were served with a smile to NHS staff, patients, and visitors. Everyone shared in the joy of the event, which showcased the community spirit so vital to both Broadlands Lodge and the NNUH.
The event was a tremendous success, raising a grand total of £601.35 for the NHS. The funds will contribute significantly to supporting the hardworking NHS staff and patients. The generosity and effort of Broadlands Lodge's residents did not go unnoticed. They were deeply moved to receive a heartfelt thank you card from the hospital, expressing gratitude for their invaluable support.
