Rudi and Beverly's journey together began during Rudi's commando training in Berlese, where Beverly worked in a military shop. They married on October 18, 1980, and moved to Germany for 12 years while Rudi continued his military service. Their family grew with the birth of their son, Nathaniel, and daughter, Aretha, both born in Germany. They are now blessed with five grandchildren.
In 1992, they moved to Scotland and, in 1994, to England. Rudi's distinguished military career spanned over 22 years and included the honor of meeting Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth. After settling in the UK, Rudi opened a letting agency and a quilting shop, while Beverly ran a beloved coffee shop and later became a childminder, maintaining close bonds with the children she cared for.
Due to circumstances, Beverly and Rudi had to enter separate care homes. However, their paths converged again at Coronation House, where they were welcomed with open arms. Now reunited, they look forward to spending their golden years together, cherishing each moment.
