Pear Tree House buzzed with excitement as residents enjoyed an extraordinary indoor visit from the Lancashire Owl Experience. Despite the wet weather, the day was filled with joy and learning as a variety of majestic birds were brought in for everyone. Residents had the unique opportunity to hold these beautiful creatures and learn fascinating facts about them, creating an unforgettable experience for all.
The fun didn't stop there. Friday began with lively horse racing games that had residents cheering and competing for prizes. The thrill of the races brought a sense of excitement and friendly competition, making the morning both entertaining and memorable.
The afternoon saw the Gardening Club in full swing, as residents came together to plant seeds for the highly anticipated Danforth in Bloom competition. This group-wide contest encourages each care home to cultivate the most scenic and beautiful garden possible. With green thumbs and high spirits, Pear Tree House residents eagerly planted various seeds, looking forward to seeing their hard work blossom into stunning displays.
