A Day of ABBA Armchair Exercises and Tiki Tiki Cocktails at Rossendale House

Residents at Rossendale House had an energetic and enjoyable day, starting with a spirited ABBA armchair exercise class led by lifestyle lead Emily, using OOMPH. The residents began with a warm-up stretch and shine workshop via OOMPH before moving on to the ABBA workout. Emily stood in front of the residents, demonstrating alternative movements to accommodate everyone's needs, ensuring an inclusive and beneficial workout.

To celebrate Pina Colada Day and embrace the summer vibes, Rossendale House hosted a Tiki Tiki Cocktail Hour. This event featured a selection of both cocktails and mocktails, making it accessible for all residents. The atmosphere was enhanced with Hawaiian music and floral necklaces, creating a festive and tropical ambiance.

The cocktails on offer included: Pina Colada, Margarita, Strawberry Daiquiri, Orange and Passion Fruit. The mocktails on offer included: Summer Fruit Mix Mocktail, Strawberries and Cream Mocktail.

Residents, having worked up a thirst after their ABBA workout, were delighted by the refreshing drinks. The combination of morning exercises and afternoon cocktails made for a perfect day of engagement and enjoyment.
